Becoming the Nation of Our Dreams

Nigeria right from the onset is a country which is rich in natural and human resources. We are absolutely blessed like we say, (A land flowing with milk and honey), but we cannot bypass the fact we have numerous challenges that have hindered the progress and development of Nigeria.

One major aspect of our flaws is the aspect of leadership of the country. We lack good leadership. Nigeria needs to have a government that is accountable and transparent to the needs of the people. We need a leader that has integrity, discipline, the fear of God and commitment to serving the people. When a leader is accountable and transparent, it builds trust and confidence in the government and citizens are more likely to participate in governance. The government also needs to invest in infrastructure such as roads, power, and transportation to improve the quality of life of the citizen. When the government creates an enabling environment for citizens, it improves the nation in general.

Lastly, Nigeria being a nation of our dreams is a collective effort from everyone. It is our responsibility to work towards making our country the nation of our dreams. It starts with me and you.
