Behind every successful team is a leader with a unique blend of focus, drive, and personality. We sat down with one of our MD Wole for a light-hearted Q&A to uncover their work philosophies, hidden talents, and what makes him tick outside the office. Spoiler alert: there’s a lot of love for Ofada rice and some serious cooking skills in play!

Here’s what he had to share:

Morning meetings or afternoon meetings?
Morning meetings—Best to get them out of the way.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after work?
Hanging out with friends over a drink and some steaming catfish pepper soup.

Where did you go on your last vacation?
I explored my home state. Sometimes, the best destinations are close to home.

What’s your favourite type of music?
Reggae, but gospel music also holds a special place in my heart.

If you had to give a 10-minute presentation on anything, what would it be?
“How to Be at Your Best”—a topic I live by and enjoy sharing.

What’s a food you could eat every day for the rest of your life?
Ofada rice, beans, and plantain—it is the ultimate comfort meal!

What’s the one thing you can’t leave home without?
Definitely my phone.

What’s your hidden talent?
I’m a really good cook.

Who’s your favorite artist?
Commander Ebenezer Obey—his music is timeless.

Time out with your friends or Owambe?
Time out with my friends—those moments are priceless.

If you could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?
A dog. Dogs are incredibly intelligent and loyal.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
The ability to randomly add value to people I come across.

Suits or native attire?
Suits—I love the sharp and polished look.

What’s the best work advice you’ve ever received?
Always be at your best—every time, every task.

If you could own a vacation home anywhere in the world, where would it be?
In my country home, nestled in Osun State.

Favourite self-care ritual?
I make sure to rest, and I eat lots of fruits and veggies. You only get one body—so I take care of mine!

Who knew our MD had such diverse tastes and talents? From cooking to leadership, there’s no doubt he brings a A-game both in and out of the office!
