Ghana, dear Ghana, you have been nice to me! ?

So, Ghana was my first country visit. I mean, its the cheapest international flight so why not. The thing is iover did it! I’ve been to Ghana, precisely Accra 3 different times and i kid you not! Unfortunately, blogging was not on my mind till my previous visit in December, 2017. This doesn’t mean I do not have pictures though wink wink.

In 2015, I travelled with my best friend, you can call her Adeola. I think we stayed for 6 days. Slept through the first day. We made some horrible decisions like going to Cape Coast twice from Accra. Thats like 4 hours using a Ford bus (the fastest ones we could find). Next time in 2017, I sure did not make the same mistake

You should definitely visit these places if you find yourself in Ghana

Canopy Walk in Kakum National Park

Here, you get the revealing truth of how fit you are! I realised i wasn’t all that but the cocoa quickly compensated for that.

Back in 2015 with the best friend!
I was sooooo scared here but covered it up like a G!
2017! Glo up!

Slave Castle

I visited the slave castle in 2015 and again in 2017. It was an experience on both occasions! I had never visited a slave castle before 2015. It was my first experience and it was chilling! It makes you feel the need to trace your ancestry, to know what happened during that era. It was a painful yet enlightening experience. It is a MUST visit in Cape Coast.

It has a little market that’s hard to miss. You can get a few items there to take home with you

Light House

Now this is such an amazing view. My friend, Akose Enebeli took this picture. Check out his Instagram page here

Soooooooo, you are not allowed to take pictures here but we had no clue and even went at night. We almost got into trouble doing this but no one was harmed ?

Labadi Beach

I surely wont leave this out! I had visited in 2015 but it was a horrible experience. The beach was sooooooo dirty, we went in and left immediately we got in. I almost convinced my friends not to go in 2017 but we tried and this time, it was a lot better. Apparently, they had an event a night before i visited in 2015. Hence the dirt.

They also convinced me that Ghana jollof isn’t all that bad. I hate to say this guys, but the jollof at Labadi beach was lit. Of course not as lit as the Nigerian Jollof ?
