My name is Thompson Kingsley Thompson, I am from a family of four, I live in Surulere and I am from Cross Rivers state.
How long have you worked in United Capital Plc?
I have been working here for 4 years and I love what I do.
What are your primary responsibilities in United Capital?
I am a contract cleaner and my responsibilities include cleaning, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping the restrooms and office areas, make minor repairs, stock and maintain the supply room, perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities, cooperate with the rest of the staff.
Tell me about a complex project you were tasked with completing before the deadline.
Just last week before the Chairman’s forum, I worked day and night for two days to ensure that his event was successful, and his guests were comfortable. We had to wash, clean and arrange the whole place.
What motivates you?
I work tirelessly every day to further my education. I wish to go back to school and become a role model to my children.
Tell me what you’ve done/doing to improve your skills as an office assistant.
My work hours are not really flexible, but I still find the time to attend my evening classes. I will be registering for my GCE soon and I am so excited about it.
What are your hobbies?
I love reading and playing soccer. I am a Chelsea fan.
Do you enjoy working here?
Yes, the staff of United Capital are very encouraging; they are always there when I need their assistance.
