We spend weeks planning trips that we wish would last forever, but they can, only if we immortalize these special moments by capturing them. It is not a show of maturity to avoid pictures and videos whilst on vacation. It is also okay if you simply just do not know what to do. With social media and digital albums becoming an integral part of our lives, we have the opportunity to save these once-in-a-lifetime moments for later. It’s easier when you are not travelling alone, but if you’re a one-man band and wish to take it up a notch, get a tripod and a mini mobile ring/led light, it’s cheap. Because what is a trip without content? Success without evidence.

For the love of fashion, you can start by capturing your Outfit of the Day. Show us that you came to tension the city and not the other way around. We’re living vicariously through your snaps and instastories, you might as well give us a show. Throw on the linen two-piece in St. Tropez and strut that Kai leather jacket in Paris. The trip is temporary, but this drip is eternal.

On holiday, we form a new relationship with food. A relationship where everything belongs in our mouths, hence we return a size bigger or two. Before you load up on the good stuff, take a picture or video. Make our mouths water, as we are stuck with work lunch. You can recreate a meal you ate or better still, try to find it at home, but the goal here is to capture the sweet life.
Tourist Behaviour
You know you really want to post that safari photo from Dubai, what’s stopping you? No kind of content beats tourist behaviour. As tourists, we get to act brand new and feel no shame. Capture the new places you visit, the new things you try, the adventures, the history and feel free to share notes from your tour guide too. Take us on a whole day in your life as a tourist. We love to see it!
Scenery & Aesthetics
This is where you pretend to be a photographer. Capture the beautiful scenery and the aesthetics of your location. There are key shots you must achieve to create the ultimate filler images for your vacation dump post. You must capture the body of water available, building architecture, gardens and landscaping, blurry nightlife pictures, art, food, sunrise/sunset, and strangers. Without these shots, there’s nothing you’re dumping.
About Last Night
If you don’t capture it, then it didn’t happen. Before the night becomes a blur, take photos and videos of your nighttime look and activities for your viewers to enjoy the morning after. Just to note, we are not looking for family reunion photos, kindly apply pressure. Suffocate everybody possible, it’s allowed.
With all this content, be rest assured that you have enough clips for reels, carousels, stories and possibly, a documentary. Also note that you do not need to go above and beyond financially to have a good time, you can explore the soft life home and abroad, whichever suits your aura.
