LOVE, hmmm; a simple four-letter word that has the capability of turning things upside down and inside out, lol.

Love is way beyond romance and kisses depending on one’s foundation. The emotions that entangle soon evaporate in the face of reality so love for me is rooted in knowledge and sacrifice. Having said that, love, at first sight, does not mean much to me because attraction to a person is limited in its scope because it is still subject to investigation and many times than none, it turns out negative. It’s also important to have an open mindset when meeting people or a person for the first time so that preconceived notions won’t be inimical to the possibility of bliss.

As I grow older, love takes a twist and turn, coming at me with a burst of meanings yet when I consume time in deep meditation, I see its simplicity and pureness. It only takes a risk and a decision to standby for someone regardless of their shortcomings as there are no such things as perfect humans. Feel what I feel for you, let’s connect affectionately and reasonably. Strange things happen in strange places. Love can be seen and found in any place and anywhere it all depends on the person involved. Are you on the lookout, recall that famous word: “He that seeks will find and he that knocks the door will be opened unto him”. It is also appropriate to state that love can find you when you are not looking. I found love in a club, the feeling was mutual and the smoothness of events was angelic yet the length of time left a bitter taste, but we mueveee! Lol.

Days are memorable only to the person who is attached to them. The culture of valentine’s day has stuck with us, I have a huge taste bud when it comes to gifts, it may differ from person to person and occasion to occasion. I like when gifts are reflections of what I carry on the inside of my heart when it is of great value and quality. My idea of a valentine’s gift will take these parameters stated above with a bottle of quality wine and a huge bouquet to go with it, winks lol. Candlelight dinner afterwards in a serene environment with a bottle of good champagne to accompany it. Meanwhile, matters of the heart differ in varying degrees so my advice is this, keep it simple and real.

Finally, as for heartbreaks, one has suffered few, and has given many but here is my take. Risk is part of our existence, and taking calculated ones is more advisable, never allow the shortfalls to deprive you of the possibility of lasting happiness.

Remember ‘’Your flaws are perfect for the heart that’s meant to love you”.

Happy lover’s month.
Love, Jess
