Dance is an expression of how I feel.
Dancing is my stress buster, releasing happy hormones to improve my mood and calm my mind. Dancing is my form of therapy. On the dance floor, I am the most confident person out there, though when the dancing shoes come off… my shyness takes over once more.
Dancing is my form of exercise. It makes me faster and stronger, builds my endurance and stamina, improves my flexibility and agility. I love how it uses and tones every muscle in my body.
Dancing is my therapy. It makes sense as the body and mind are connected. So, the healthier, fitter and happier my body, the more settled my mind.
