The hairiest month of the year has sadly come to an end and these five men are about to do-away with their beardy faces.
The 27-day challenge was in honour of Movember, the international month of men’s health awareness and these gallant gentlemen rose to the challenge and cast away their shaving sticks for a month. How did they find the experience? Japhet Duru, Heirs Insurance Limited, shared stories of concerned friends and family asking “Is everything OK?!”, while David Rice, The Tony Elumelu Foundation; complained of that dreaded growth itch and couldn’t wait for this bushy trail to come to an end.
Their efforts were not in vain, as our healthcare arm, Avon Medical will be running men’s health awareness campaigns throughout this month, in keeping with the Movember spirit.
