My cousin was getting married to my close friend) so I wanted to “pepper them”

For the May edition of our Style Crush, we got none other than Nnamdi Azubuike of United Capital Plc to share his style inspiration.

Enjoy:

No .1

Who’s your stylist?

Mekaino Couture

What made you decide on style and colour for day:

Nothing really, it was just a random choice.

What do you like about the look?:

Strong appearance (lol). I have a thing for sky blue (that doesn’t extend to Chelsea FC though).

No. 2

Who’s your stylist?

Green Cutton

What made you decide on style and colour for day:

It was a Sunday evening, I felt like putting on something casual but still well-tailored.

What do you like about the look?:

I previously had issues with short sleeved shirts until Green Cutton convinced me to leave my comfort zone. The outfit gets me up and about.

Who’s your stylist?

What made you decide on style and colour for day:

My favourite colour is red but I wanted to wear a white Agbada for this wedding (my cousin was getting married to my close friend) so I wanted to “pepper them”. I decided to wear something that combined my favourite colour and white.

What do you like about the look?

Everything, particularly the colour combo.

Who’s your stylist:

Green Cutton

What made you decide on style and colour for day:

This was the last working day before the office closed for Christmas, so red and white had to go in there and of course a lil smile for the successful year gone by.

What do you like about the look?

I remember putting this picture on IG and the caption was “A a lil jazz (piano), a lil smile, a lil pic, a lil wine (we had cocktails that day) a lil 2016” lol there you go

What made you decide on style and colour for day:

This one was an asoebi oh lol!! But I didn’t wear the cap others wore, because of “ my thing with red”

What do you like about the look?:

This look (and posture) reminds me of the need to always express yourself in the way you understand, lol. (This is my own version of “Shoki”). A pink cap was the chosen hat but it just didn’t do it for me.

What made you decide on style and colour for day:

UBA CEO awards and it was a black tie event…We had to comply (lol)

What do you like about the look?:

I generally don’t like the idea of a “black tie event”. I usually feel it is an oyinbo man’s thing, I prefer my agbada or native. This was my first black tie outing and it didn’t feel bad at all.

No.7

Who’s your stylist? :

Various lol.

What made you decide on style and colour for day:

HH Group party and it was an old school affair. This is “new-old school”

What do you like about the look?:

Relaxing, away from the usual…

Which, exactly, is your favourite colour, my brother? Sky blue or red? Great pictures.
