Dear Colleagues,

In line with the Chairman’s directive earlier this year to ensure Efficiency and Effectiveness within the group, we are pleased to announce that all investee companies of the group will now be housed under one building effective from September 1, 2017.

This is as result of management’s resolve to reduce cost and enhance the collaborative work culture among colleagues, in our goal to accelerate the transformation of Africa with the economic philosophy of Africapitalism as its undertone.

From September 1, 2017 till the foreseeable future, all investee companies of the group in Lagos will now work at a new building to be leased by Afriland Properties, one of the companies within the group. Uzo Oshogwe, the CEO of Afriland will ensure that the reorganization is carried out smoothly between now and then, supervised by Adim Jibunoh, Director of Business Development. Staff across the group can log onto the new and improved intranet to make seating arrangements in each wing reserved for their respective companies.

The proposed building that will house an investment conglomerate like Heirs Holdings, is one that we are all acquainted with. It is the historical multi-storeyed former National Secretariat, just across 1, McGregor Street, Ikoyi. The current domicile of Heirs Place will be turned into The Tony Elumelu Institute for endowing research fellows to study Africapitalism and the rise of Nigeria into a top 3 economy by 2050.

The choice of the new facility is occasioned by its massive capacity to take 1200-offices, an expansive lunchroom with self-catering units, a gym & recreational wing, crash pads for our vendors and staff working overnight, a hangar and a visa utility bureau. One of the wings will also serve as an indoor garage for cars of employees. At full capacity, the building will also be used to host

In our five years of operation as a pan-African investment conglomerate, we have taken large strides and we are consolidating on our progress in our mission to keep running businesses that are ranked in the top three in their individual sectors. We hope each and every one of us is buoyed by this milestone in the group’s history, which will aid us in the pursuit of our passion and the actualization of our dreams, by creating economic and social wealth in the long term.

Thank you.

Happy April First!
