Hi, My Loves!<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a minute since I have been on your screens. However, fret not! your resident Gen Z is back with another banger. Though Buhari\u2019s Nigeria has been treating us shabbily with the naira drama and the election tension that has built up since the beginning of the year, I must confess that it feels good to talk to you again. To lighten the mood, let me tell you about this amazing place that will have you leave you smiling even when they ask you \u201cCurrent or Savings?\u201d.<\/p>\n

So, my friends and I, as honourable members of the \u201cChop Life Gang\u201d decided to do some exploring in Sanwo-Olu\u2019s Lagos for a nice quiet place to have dinner. There was a celebration and as foodies, you already know that we would look for any excuse to eat out. Buried in the heart of Lekki Phase one, off Admiralty way, I present to you \u2013 The Shed.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s dive in and dismantle this place:<\/p>\n

Name of Restaurant:<\/strong> The Shed<\/p>\n

Location:<\/strong> 1 Wole Olateju Cres, off Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State.<\/p>\n

Experience:<\/strong> It was a 9 out of 10 for me. A great fine dining experience and impressive attention to the customer\u2019s needs. Don\u2019t get me started on the ambience. The space is very artsy and feels like you have been transported to a courtyard in old Havana. The alternate dining area has this Moroccan theme going on with the beautifully carved wooden dividers and table setting.<\/p>\n

The restaurant boasts of an in-house entertainer who blows your mind with his numerous card tricks while you wait out your order. I know you were wondering so I will just mention that this too is a free service available to all guests if you request it.<\/p>\n

Parking:<\/strong> The restaurant has a plot opposite its building solely for parking, however, it is a shared parking space with its sister restaurant. I would still give it points for being considerate and not offering us as a sacrifice to the street parking merchants looking for their daily 2k.<\/p>\n

Menu:<\/strong> European \u2013 While I am not necessarily a fan of European cuisine, there was definitely something about this place that make it bearable, dare I say enjoyable even.<\/p>\n

Basic Damage:<\/strong> N35,000 and above for a three-course meal. Spend this money abeg! Next of kin no dey do transfer.<\/p>\n

What meal(s)\/drink(s) would you recommend?<\/strong> We were served this really tasty rice and peas dish as an appetizer on the house and that action melted our hearts and set the tone for the rest of the evening. For the mains, as a large crowd of 12, we really did explore the menu. The crowd’s favourites were the Beef Roast, Pork Tenderloin and the William Whopper Chopper (A super juicy burger meal). All the meals were flavourful and the portions were sizeable too. You could honestly taste the quality of the meal.<\/p>\n

As for the drinks, trust your Lagos restaurant to go all out with fancy cocktails. I mean what else will Lagos babes drink all night if not that? Personally, I would recommend the Spicy Gin and the Whiskey twist. They were the right amount of spicy, sweet and strong to \u201cgbe mi de be\u201d for a casual drinker.<\/p>\n

Rate the service:<\/strong> Like I always say, I am a sucker for great service and this place definitely understood the assignment. It\u2019s 4 out of 5 stars for me. Chef\u2019s kiss!<\/p>\n

Verdict?<\/strong> Would you recommend this place? Yes, yes and yes. I would 100% recommend this place. Fine dining at its best.<\/p>\n
