Following breast cancer awareness month in October comes the lesser known but equally impactful ‘Movember’.<\/p>\n
Movember is a men’s health drive that challenges men around the world to grow their facial hair to raise funds and awareness for men’s health initiatives- particularly prostate cancer.<\/p>\n
We have five Movember Champions in HH this month: David Rice, Director, The Africapitalism Institute; Sam Nwanze, Director of Finance and Investments, Heirs Holdings; Obong Idiong, Company Secretary and Japhet Duru, Chief Technical Officer, Heirs Insurance.<\/p>\n
These (mostly) smooth-faced men have honourably agreed to let their facial hair grow freely, and possibly wildly, all in the name of men’s health awareness.<\/p>\n
The four weeks of facial growth will culminate with Avon Medical’s men’s health screening at the end of November.<\/p>\n
Take a good look at their pictures now, because at the end of the month, these men will be more grizzly than we’ve ever seen them! You can vote for the best beard or moustache in the next edition of HH People. The winner will be crowned as our Ultimate Movember Champion 2015<\/strong>.
