Transcorp Hilton adjudged as the best Case Study – Kaizen Works!<\/b><\/p>\n
Earlier this month, Kaizen Institute Africa, entered the Transcorp Hilton case study in Kaizen Institute\u2019s internal case-study competition in Frankfurt, Germany. This was an internal competition in which all 28 business units participated. The evaluation process requires all participating contestants to evaluate all case studies on several parameters.<\/p>\n

Transcorp\u2019s power subsidiaries commence merger process, hold court-ordered meeting<\/b><\/p>\n
Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc has commenced the process of merging its power business subsidiaries, Transcorp Ughelli Power Limited (TUPL) and Ughelli Power Plc (UPP). While TUPL is a wholly owned special purpose vehicle of the company, UPP\u00a0 is the owner and operator of the Ughelli Power Plant.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>Following the approval-in-principle granted by the Securities and Exchange Commission for the proposed merger of TUPL and UPP a court-ordered meeting was held on August 13, 2015 of shareholders of both companies to approve the terms of the merger.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>We await the final approval from SEC.\u00a0The proposed merger is expected to bring overall management and operational efficiency to the power business of Transcorp.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>The proposed merger is expected to bring overall management and operational efficiency to the power business of Transcorp.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Transcorp Hilton adjudged as the best Case Study – Kaizen Works!
