For me, summer is my favourite time of the year. Great weather, sundresses, shorts, BBQ\u2019s, pool parties, late sunsets, and most importantly fun in the sun. That probably explains why I ditched Boston and set my eyes on a place that gives me summer weather all year round. Although Lagos offers summer 24\/7, I must say nothing<\/strong> can replace my love for summertime in the \u2018Chi\u2019, Chicago that is.<\/p>\n

The City of Chicago is the third most populous city in the US. It is located in Illinois and the major city in the Midwest. It\u2019s a diverse city with people full of soul. Every summer the city of Chicago is filled with tourists hoping to get the \u2018Summertime Chi\u2019 experience which may include attending the infamous Taste of Chicago (foodie heaven), luxury shopping on Magnificent Mile, or hanging out at Navy Pier or enjoying the beach along Lakeshore Drive.<\/p>\n

Whatever your vacation desires may be, Chicago in the summer will surely keep you entertained and might I add, very well fed. In addition to sightseeing, Chicago is known for their unique cuisine and lays claim to a number of authentic specialities such as the deep dish pizza, Chicago style hot dog, Maxwell street polish, and is home to Garrett Gourmet popcorn. Whatever your vacation desires may be, Chicago in the summer will surely keep you entertained and might I add, very well fed.
