{"id":2271,"date":"2017-02-01T09:32:54","date_gmt":"2017-02-01T09:32:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/heirsholdings.com\/hhpeople\/?p=2271"},"modified":"2017-03-02T06:12:10","modified_gmt":"2017-03-02T06:12:10","slug":"valentine-comfort-food-mac-and-cheese","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.heirsholdings.com\/hhpeople\/2017\/02\/valentine-comfort-food-mac-and-cheese","title":{"rendered":"Valentine Comfort Food &#8211; Mac and Cheese"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>By Moyo Awotile<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><u>Disclaimer:<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n<p>This meal, although tagged \u2018comfort food\u2019, should only be eaten sparingly, if you don\u2019t want to discover the discomfort of your stomach getting into bed 3 seconds after you do. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><u>Ingredients:<\/u><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bd stick of Salted butter (NOT Margarine oh.)<\/li>\n<li>2 tbs of Corn flour.<\/li>\n<li>1 cup of Whole milk.<\/li>\n<li>1 cup of grated parmesan cheese.<\/li>\n<li>1 cup of Cheddar cheese.<\/li>\n<li>Plenty Chicken strips (sans skin and bones).<\/li>\n<li>Plenty Shrimps (pan seared).<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd bag of Macaroni (if you are using dangote).<\/li>\n<li>1 spoon of Ground pepper.<\/li>\n<li>2 Knorr chicken cubes.<\/li>\n<li>2 tbs olive oil. (we might as well try to be a bit healthy)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><u>Instructions:<\/u><\/h2>\n<p>Bring to boil 3 cups of water, add the macaroni, Knorr cubes and olive oil.<\/p>\n<p>When macaroni is *<em>al dente*,<\/em> drain and keep the liquid in a bowl.<\/p>\n<p>In another pot (or you can wash the same pot and reuse), melt the butter and add the cornflour.
