{"id":1695,"date":"2016-06-30T10:44:56","date_gmt":"2016-06-30T10:44:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/heirsholdings.com\/hhpeople\/?p=1695"},"modified":"2016-08-01T14:09:39","modified_gmt":"2016-08-01T14:09:39","slug":"chairman-loves-future-entrepreneurs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.heirsholdings.com\/hhpeople\/2016\/06\/chairman-loves-future-entrepreneurs","title":{"rendered":"Chairman Loves Future Entrepreneurs!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">On the weekend of June 25<sup>th<\/sup> 2016, our Chairman was in Port Harcourt to meet with and inspire the students of Jesuit Memorial College on the future of entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Many of us would recall the unfortunate incident of December 10, 2005, where 60 students of Loyola Jesuit College, Abuja lost their lives in a plane crash en-route Port Harcourt from Abuja. In his words, these are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\"><b>Purpose:<\/b> What would you like to be in future? What are your dreams and aspirations? Purpose is nothing if you don\u2019t work towards making it come true;<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\"><b>Hard work<\/b>&#8211; Hard work is important to achieve your true purpose in life. Good things don\u2019t come easy;<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\"><b>Discipline<\/b> &#8211; \u00a0Discipline means you stay focused, and stay on the path. Discipline will allow you realize your purpose;<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\"><b>Check<\/b><b>-ins<\/b><b>:<\/b> identify and set milestones that lead to the accomplishment of your chosen purpose. And you should periodically check yourself. Ask yourself if you\u2019ve achieved milestones,<span class=\"x_apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>and if you are on top of things.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\"><b>Resilience<\/b>: You need to be resilient. You need to have staying power even during the tough times. Remember tough times don\u2019t last.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst\"><b>Humility<\/b>: Above all, you need to embrace humility. Internalize it and run with it because as you become more successful, the propensity is there for you to forget where you\u2019re coming from.
