They said the way to a man\u2019s heart is through his stomach. I, *clears throat* having little to no experience in that regard, decided to ask Professor google.<\/p>\n<p>I <em>also<\/em> asked myself, \u201cwhat do men like to eat?\u201d With my limited knowledge, I know men like chicken and the Bible even \u00a0namechecks this delicious protein several times (please see &#8216;fowl&#8217; in Gen 1:30, Gen 2:19-20, Gen 9:2 and &#8216;chicks&#8217; in Matt 23:37, o ye, doubting Thomases). So when I found a dish that was not only a chicken meal but promised to make a man pop \u201cle question\u201d, I knew I had literally found the one. So here goes:<\/p>\n<p>What you need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 chicken breasts with the skin on (if you can find this, without is fine)<\/li>\n<li>6 garlic cloves<\/li>\n<li>A slab of bacon about a half inch think or pancetta<\/li>\n<li>Olive oil<\/li>\n<li>Canola oil<\/li>\n<li>Salt and black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What to do:<\/p>\n<p><u>Step 1:<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper and set aside<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/heirsholdings.com\/hhpeople\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/123.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1569 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/heirsholdings.com\/hhpeople\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/123-300x225.png\" alt=\"123\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.heirsholdings.com\/hhpeople\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/123-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/www.heirsholdings.com\/hhpeople\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/123.png 529w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><u>Step 2:<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy and set aside<\/p>\n<p><u>Step 3:<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Sautee the garlic cloves in olive oil and then bake them in the oven until soft<\/p>\n<p><u>Step 4:<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Place the chicken breasts in a hot pan of canola oil (with the skin side down if you have skin). Do not flip the chicken, allow the chicken to start to cook through to the other side. Do this on medium heat.<\/p>\n<p><u>Step 5:<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Put the pan with the chicken in it in the oven allow it cook through.<\/p>\n<p><em>NB this means the pan has to be oven-proof<\/em><\/p>\n<p><u>Step 6:<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Plate!<\/p>\n<p>I drizzled the olive oil with the garlic over the chicken and then poured the bacon over it. I garnished with some sprigs of basil leaves. Forgive the lack of photos on this please, I was preoccupied with wondering if someone would really marry me if they ate this lol.<\/p>\n<p>Ended up enjoying it myself and wondering hmm\u2026.
