It was Africa Day celebration at APR Plc on May 25, 2016.<\/p>\n

Staff were cladded\u00a0 in various shades of beautiful African attires, while varieties of African dishes and snacks like roasted yam, plantain (boli), abacha, ojojo, akara, etc. were on the menu. The entire office was adorned with African crafts and d\u00e9cor. The atmosphere was charged with pure African entertainment served by drummers, dancers, and mascots.<\/p>\n

There were presentations by various departments including drama, dance, poetry, and African Kitchen. The best dressed\u2014male and female categories\u2014were selected and celebrated.<\/p>\n

The initiative of Africa Day celebration across the world is in commemoration of the 1963 founding of the Organization of African Unity (OAU), presently recognized as the Africa Union (AU).<\/p>\n
