My colleagues and I are excited and optimistic about Africa’s future. Our excitement is not premised on the fact that we are Africans and feel a moral obligation to be “blindly optimistic.” Here at Heirs Holdings, we have a much more informed basis and believe we can make positive change across the continent for the greater good of its people. Heirs Holdings is the vehicle through which we intend to drive this change and create significant value in the process.

I believe African economies can and will normalise and in the process create a number of opportunities to produce and deliver world-class products and services, especially as Africa’s consumers become increasingly informed and their income continues to grow. Our investment philosophy at Heirs Holdings is built on our track record of successfully creating a financial services group, which now spans the African continent and is transforming the way Africans gain access to both basic and more sophisticated financial service products. Heirs Holdings is a long-term investor.
